Wayside

Will and Polly first gained outline planning permission for a new house. We designed their future home and applied for Reserved Matters planning permission.

Working in partnership with Ty Cefn Ltd construction company enabled a seamless link between the design and build process. The company specialises in bespoke timber frames, therefore they provided value engineering insights early into the design stage.

 

Adopting our fabric first approach,  we specified triple-glazed high performance windows and doors, high levels of insulation and airtightness, and a bespoke timber frame designed to reduce thermal bridging.

Following completion of the build, Will and Polly had the opportunity to show-case their home on Channel 4's 'Building the Dream', this had been a goal of theirs, and we were happy to help them achieve it.
